Tell me lies. Tell Me Sweet Little Lies....

You Are the one I needed to see
Section 8
I am writing this from a hotel in Atlanta. I currently have no service on my cell phone. Thank you, Sprint. Thank you so very much.
I went to two graduations this week.
One was for my girl. The other one was for her friend. Both of them are from Africa and had the, should I say, opportunity to come to the US to go to school here. My girl graduated Magna Cum Laude, with a 3.92 (pending the posting of additional grades to her transcript.) Her friend graduated from a Southern Polytech in Atlanta, but did not have those honors. He's got a 5 year degree to be an architect.
All of this made me think about my recent decision to go back to school. How nice it will be to get a bachelor's degree and then on to masters and doctorate. I have officially made up my mind after this week.
It has been 2 hours, still no cell service. I take a while to write these posts.
I have been writing letters to my wonderful state representatives and senators about the majority of the issues going on today. I have yet to receive a response. They are supposed to represent me. They are all republicans. I am a Democrat to the FAR left of the scale. I believe I fall in as a blend between libertarian and democrat.
I am so ready for bush to do something so dumb, the right has no choice but to detach from him. He almost did that this week when he spoke about Russian relations post-World War II in central and eastern Europe.
Oh well. Four more wars right?
Until the next time.
Much love.
